DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Canadian Photonic Industry Consortium\, we would like to invite you to the Québec City Convention Centre\, Québec\, Canada for the Photonics North conference on May 21-23\, 2019.  This conference will be an excellent opportunity to network and exchange with researchers\, government representatives and industry professionals. \nOptics and photonics technologies are strategic to the overall growth of many industry sectors in Canada; the pervasive nature of these enabling technologies results in novel applications covering numerous fields.  To respond to the increasing needs of the industry and population\, researchers in optics and photonics from all over the world are developing new capabilities\, knowledge and products by transforming research outcomes into innovation with socio-economic impact. \nMoreover\, this year\, Photonics North 2019 will be held jointly with the ETOP 2019 Conference (Education and Training in Optics and Photonics).
