DESCRIPTION:Join us in Markham\, Ontario\, November 15-17 as we explore this year’s theme: Advanced diagnostics in optometry. We’re offering optometrists 20 COPE-accredited (pending) hours over three days plus exclusive access to our industry trade show! Our parallel\, one-day optometric staff program provides 6 hours of continuing education for optometric assistants\, ophthalmic technicians\, office managers and front desk staff from optometric offices and clinics. \nAs the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science\, we’re ranked third in North America in research impact – fifth in the world – and we operate Canada’s largest optometric clinic\, with some 28\,000 patient visits a year spanning from primary eye care to a range of specialty services. As a result\, we offer continuing professional development rooted in clinical evidence and informed by the latest lab-to-clinic research.
