SILMO Istanbul 2025 Strengthens Its Role as Eurasia’s Optical Hub

SILMO Istanbul marked another successful year as the region’s leading optical event, drawing thousands of professionals to the Istanbul Expo Center from November 19–22. Positioned at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, the 12th edition reaffirmed its status as a strategic meeting point for the Eurasian eyewear and eyecare industry.

This year’s show welcomed 700 brands and exhibitors and 11,736 visitors, representing a 12.4% increase compared to 2024. Attendees travelled from across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia, with international visitors making up 18% of total attendance. The growth underscores both the strength of Turkey’s optical market and SILMO Istanbul’s expanding influence.

Several key highlights shaped the 2025 edition:

• SILMO Award Istanbul
The third edition of the awards program celebrated the brands and professionals driving advancements in design, technology, sustainability, innovation, and customer experience within the Turkish optical sector.

• SILMO Istanbul Akademik
A series of conferences led by local and international experts provided insights on industry trends, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, sustainability, and evolving customer expectations.

• SILMO Next
Featuring the Futurology space and the Trend Forum, this area showcased upcoming innovations and curated theme collections blending fashion and technology.

SILMO Istanbul will return November 18–21, 2026, continuing its mission to unite regional and international stakeholders and shape the future of the optical industry.
