Essilor Canada receives World Sight day Challenge Gold Award

Essilor Canada is proud to have been recognized with a World Sight Day Challenge GOLD AWARD for its contribution in 2014!

To celebrate World Sight Day, Essilor employees, throughout Canada, supported by management, organize awareness and fundraising events. Our company feels proud for what we’ve done to help people in the developing world also have access to vision care services. By participating in the World Sight Day Challenge, Essilor Canada and its employees have contributed towards transforming the lives of some of the over 600 million people who are blind or vision impaired simply because they do not have access to an eye examination and a pair of glasses. Our donations help to train local eyecare professionals and establish vision centers, so that Optometry Giving Sight can deliver eye care and low cost glasses in communities where these services do not currently exist.

Join us in helping to make eye care accessible for everyone by getting involved on World Sight Day, October 8, 2015!
