CLU Issue 31: Overnight Lens Wear and Orthokeratology

Issue 31 of the Centre for Contact Lens Research’s Contact Lens Update explores extended wear of contact lenses, including the fields of myopia control and orthokeratology.

Clinical trial consultant Robin Chalmers writes about how innovations in contact lens materials have improved the safety of wearing contacts for extended periods.

In the feature article, Optometrist Kate Gifford reviews the Retardation of Myopia in Orthokeratology (ROMIO) study and looks at the future of myopia control.

Also included are research highlights from the Dutch Contact Lens Congress and a patient handout on Maximizing Success with Extended Wear Contact Lenses.
