Zeiss Meditec Group Quarterly Report Shows Growth of 6.6%

Carl Zeiss Meditec Group reported first fiscal quarter revenue up 6.6% to €280 m with strong growth in refractive lasers and the Asia/Pacific Region (+29.6%). Revenue from North America was described as stable with a 1.9% increase.

The  outlook for sales is expected to be bolstered by the US approval of SMILE technology. SMILE has been approved in Canada.
