FYidoctors Eyes Expansion in St. Catharines with Second Location
FYidoctors | Visique announces that Dr. Viktor Kuraitis and his staff have joined the FYidoctors family.
Dr. Kuraitis graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Vision Science and Optometry in 1975 with a special interest in vision therapy. Soon after graduation, he opened his own practice, which still stands in its original location on Linwell Road. The clinic has been serving the residents of St. Catharines for over 40 years and specializes in binocular vision, and prism and vision therapy.
Born and raised in St. Catharines, Dr. Kuraitis is an active member of his community participating in many forms including his role with the Grantham Lions Club. Dr. Kuraitis is also a member of Lions Eye Care Niagara, an organization that helps support eye health initiatives in Niagara. Beyond his local community, he is also a member of professional associations such as the College of Optometrists of Ontario, Ontario Association of Optometrists, Canadian Association of Optometrists, College of Optometrists in Vision Development, Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association and the College of Syntonic Optometry – of which he is a member and fellow.
“We’re excited to be expanding our presence in the St. Catharines region and welcoming Dr. Kuraitis and his staff to the FYidoctors family,” said Dr. Alan Ulsifer, Chairman and CEO of FYidoctors. “Having run his clinic for over 40 years, Dr. Kuraitis understands the importance of our mission, to provide Canadians access to high quality eye care and eye wear, and we look forward to continuing making strides in attaining it with him and his team onboard.”
The Dr. Viktor A. Kuraitis, O.D. clinic will continue to operate in the same location and to serve its patients with the same high quality eyecare experience they’ve become accustomed to – just now under the FYidoctors banner.
