Lab’Optical: A New Lens Supplier in Canada

Since the end of 2018, Lab’Optical, a new company founded by three dispensing opticians in Quebec, has had the exclusive rights for the Canadian distribution of the Novacel brand.

The owners, Mélissa Caron, Yoann Amaglio and Pierre-Antoine Durand, have over 40 years of combined experience in the field of optics at various levels.

According to Lab’Optical, Novacel is the third largest ophthalmic lens producer in France, with growth of over 50% in 10 years and more than 8 million lenses sold in 2019 (or 28,000 per day). With a surface area of more than 14,000 m², the Novacel facility is entirely dedicated to the research, development and manufacture of cutting-edge products.
