DaTE 2026 Concludes in Napoli and Sets Its Next Destination: Bologna, 11–13 September 2027

DaTE 2026 closed its Napoli edition with results exceeding expectations, reaffirming the strength of a format built around meetings, relationships and dialogue. Held from 12 to 14 September at the historic Salone Margherita, the event welcomed 1,000 unique professionals, generating more than 1,080 total attendances over three days.

International participation grew significantly: 77 international professionals from 18 countries attended—more than double the number recorded in 2025. International visitors represented 8% of total attendance, compared with 3% last year. A delegation of around 20 European buyers, supported by ITA – Italian Trade Agency, further enriched business opportunities for exhibiting brands.

The strong turnout confirms the value of DaTE’s decision to adopt an itinerant format. Hosting the event in Napoli expanded its reach across Central and Southern Italy, attracting professionals and retailers from regions previously underrepresented, while maintaining a solid national audience.

DaTE President Davide Degl’Incerti Tocci emphasized the event’s unique identity: “DaTE is not a traditional trade fair. It is an event—a place where professionals can take their time, look closely, discover products, and meet one another. Our itinerant approach responds to a real need: bringing the community together in different places and creating new connections at every edition.”

Next stop: Bologna, 11–13 September 2027

In 2027, DaTE will move to Bologna, taking place at the iconic Paladozza. Degl’Incerti Tocci notes: “Like sport, eyewear is a team game. Everyone has their role, and when the team plays well, it wins. Paladozza is a venue with unique energy, shaped by great champions.”

Beyond symbolism, Bologna offers practical advantages: a central, well‑connected location with versatile spaces suited to DaTE’s contemporary, informal format—ideal for fostering dialogue between companies and professionals.
