Oakley is bringing back a Y2K-era icon with the limited-edition release of the MUZM FatCat, revived from the brand’s 2004 archives.
Part of the curated Oakley MUZM collection, FatCat returns more than 20 years after its original launch, reconnecting the brand’s sport-inspired design heritage with a new generation of eyewear consumers.
The Oakley MUZM FatCat stays close to the original design, with the same organic sculpting and deep-set lenses that helped define its early 2000s look. The re-release updates the frame with Oakley Prizm™ Lens Technology, while preserving the bold proportions and Heavy Stretch Logo that made the silhouette recognizable.

The frame is made with lightweight O-Matter™ material, designed to provide durability and flexibility for everyday wear.
The release follows the recent launch of the Oakley Players Collection, which is rooted in sport and culture. The MUZM FatCat campaign is led by professional soccer player and Team Oakley athlete Alexia Putellas, whose work in sport, style and advocacy for gender equality aligns with the collection’s cultural positioning.

“FatCat has that rare balance of heritage and futurism,” said Team Oakley athlete Alexia Putellas. “It’s rooted in a defining moment of sports culture but still feels like something designed for what’s next.”
Oakley MUZM FatCat will be available in two colourways: Matte Black with Prizm™ Grey lenses and Cream with Prizm™ 24K Polarized lenses.
The limited-edition frame is now available on Oakley.com, at select Oakley stores and through select partners worldwide.
