FYidoctors Brings on a Strong Group in the Windsor Area

Calgary, AB  – FYidoctors, a leading Canadian eye care company, announces that Windsor Vision Centre and Tecumseh Vision Centre have joined their growing team. Under the leadership of Dr. Tim Peters and Dr. Jamie Larocque, this practice has been a highly successful group that has served the Windsor and Tecumseh areas for almost 30 years.

This acquisition will give FYidoctors a heightened presence in this region of Ontario. Equipped with a range of diagnostic technology, a wide selection of designer and exclusive label frames and internal freeform lens designs, these locations will establish a new and prominent FYidoctors presence in Eastern Canada.

“I am proud to welcome Drs. Tim Peters, Abee Azar, Jamie Larocque, Jim Tolmie, Kara Harvey, Betty Ann Tarr, and Paul McLure to FYidoctors. This innovative team has created two of the most beautiful and fastest growing clinics I have seen in many years. Our momentum in Ontario continues to grow and having thought leaders continue to join us, despite their current success, is further confirmation that doctors see a brighter future as part of a stronger team.”  says FYidoctors CEO and President, Dr. Alan Ulsifer.

These new FYidoctors locations will offer detailed pre-testing, comprehensive eye exams, a menu of current lens technology and custom fittings with our electronic measurement devices.

Dr. Tim Peters of the Windsor Vision Centre and Tecumseh Vision Centre added, “We are proud to be a part of the innovative and progressive FYidoctors team and excited to adopt the dynamic culture as our own. From our humble beginnings as a single doctor practice we have grown into a successful multi doctor, 2-location practice serving both Windsor and Tecumseh, Ontario. Integrating the FYidoctors processes, product portfolio, and diagnostic technology will solidify future success while further enhancing patient care and experience. Together, with the already strong local FYidoctors presence, we are sure to achieve our vision of being leaders in the evolution of eye care in the Windsor area.”

On the left, under "Single vision correction," it states that peripheral light rays focus behind the retina, encouraging eye growth and increased myopia progression. The diagram shows peripheral light rays focusing behind the retina, leading to the eye growing longer and becoming more myopic. On the right, under "Myopia control design," it explains that lenslets focus light in front of the retina, slowing the progression of myopia. The diagram includes illustrations of the Essilor Stellest and Hoya MIYOSMART lenses, showing light rays focused by individual lenslets and reduced myopia progression.
