IRIS The Visual Group Returns to Acquisition Mode

Boucher_Annie_IrisIRIS The Visual Group announces the appointment of Annie Boucher, Director of Business Development/Acquisitions Eastern Canada. Recently, her former colleague from Nikon Optical, Scott Corbet, was given the same title for Western Canada. Both directors now improve IRIS’ reach and mandate to aggressively acquire new locations and integrate them into the IRIS brand and values.

“After one year of internal restructuring we are excited to announce that we are now focused on a new era of expansion for the IRIS brand. Our late founder, Dr. Francis Jean, envisioned the IRIS brand to grow to 20% of the eye care market in Canada. By developing this team of IRIS professionals, we are proud to say we are taking a significant step towards achieving this common dream” says Dr. Michael Chaiken, Optometrist, VP Business Development and Regulatory Affairs, IRIS.

Annie has been in the optical industry for over 20 years. She started out as an optician and eventually became Regional Manager Eastern Canada for Nikon Optical. “I left this great position and great company in May 2015 to spend more time with my family. However, when I was presented with this opportunity at IRIS I just couldn’t refuse! I am extremely excited to be part of this new era at IRIS!”
