The Canadian Optical Feminine Association is Launched

MONTREAL, QC – COFA, Canadian Optical Feminine Association, also known as ACFO (Association canadienne féminine de l’optique) has been launched in Canada. The main aim of this new organization is to promote the leadership and the influence of women in the Canadian optical industry.

In order to foster female leadership in the Canadian market, COFA will organize networking events for those involved in Canada’s eye health field. “Collaboration between women in business circles is essential because it contributes to their empowerment and the emergence of a new generation of leaders,” says Martine Breton.

COFA will benefit from the support of the OWA (Optical Women’s Association). Members of the Canadian association will be invited to the two events organized by OWA, New York’s Vision Expo East (VEE) and Vision Expo West (VEW) in Las Vegas.

COFA is proud to support the Eye Disease Foundation. For every new registration, a donation will be made to the foundation.

The diagram includes illustrations of the Essilor Stellest and Hoya MIYOSMART lenses, showing light rays focused by individual lenslets and reduced myopia progression.
