Step Into Spring Style!

March-April issue of Optik Magazine features IMAGINEM, which highlights advice from Eye Styling Expert Wendy Buchanan, R.O. just in time for the spring season.

Longer sunny days and a deep desire to move forward with life will inspire and drive new eyewear and sunwear purchases this Spring.

Eyewear styles include both bold colours and sorbet pastel tones. Oversized and understated casual designs, give us options and the freedom to style wardrobes of eyewear.

Here are the top three Fashion trends and the eyewear trends to accessorize the total look.

FASHION TREND #1 – OVERSIZED

A recent crop of big shoulder padded boyfriend jackets matched with not-so simple designer tees and relaxed fitting button up shirts are the new business casual. Accessorize with XXL or Pantone’s 2021 Color of the Year, Illuminating.

FASHION TREND #2 – SPORT LEISURE

This leisure fashion trend sporting upscale sweats and designer khakis is infiltrating and taking over “work from home” and weekend wardrobes. Accessorize with masculine details or sleek aesthetic.

FASHION TREND #3 – PASTEL TONES

On the runway, it is a rainbow of colour this season showcasing soothing lilac, subtle bluebells and bubblegum pink combined with refreshing and garden-like floral prints.  Accessorize with pink power or playful shapes.

People are ready for a refresh this Spring and 2021 is all about striking the perfect balance of comfort and style.
