Think About Your Eyes Celebrates World Sight Day

Think About Your Eyes celebrates World Sight Day on Thursday, October 12, with a consumer campaign across social media, national and local traditional media, and in-person events in select regional markets.

The campaign’s media outreach is centered around the results of a consumer survey, conducted by Think About Your Eyes in early September, on the importance of vision in everyday life and the steps taken to protect vision health. The results will be shared with national health and lifestyle media, and can be found at www.thinkaboutyoureyes.com/surveyreport.

Throughout October, paid content syndication on target health and lifestyle websites will drive consumers to ThinkAboutYourEyes.com to learn more about vision health and find an eye doctor.

Additionally, on October 12, brand ambassadors will host live photo opportunities in each of the five markets encouraging visitors to enjoy the sights that their vision allow them to experience and to post a photo from the scene with the hashtag #ThinkAboutYourEyes. Ambassadors will also distribute information on annual eye exams and the importance of vision health.

Think About Your Eyes will also utilize local optometrists in these cities for media opportunities on World Sight Day.

To join in the World Sight Day activities, follow along on Instagram using the hashtag #ThinkAboutYourEyes. To learn more about Think About Your Eyes and to join the campaign as a supporting company, contact Jon Torrey at jtorrey@thinkaboutyoureyes.com.
