Lucere Dermatology & Laser Clinic Joins FYidoctors

FYidoctors announced Lucere Dermatology & Laser Clinics as the latest esthetic medicine practice to join the growing company. The addition of Lucere’s two new Edmonton clinics brings the total aesthetic medicine clinics operating in Western Canada for FYidoctors to 11.

“We’re pleased to announce the merger with Lucere, and to partner with Dr. Taher and his experienced team,” said Dr. Alan Ulsifer, CEO and Chairman of FYidoctors. “Regarded as a leading medical aesthetics practice in Edmonton, we look forward to building on our shared approach to patient-led care.”

Founded by Dr. Zaki Taher and Issan Sassi, the husband-and-wife duo have led the full service medical and cosmetic dermatology clinics since 2014. Dr. Taher received both his Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Medical Doctorate from the University of Alberta and is recognized as one of the few fellowship-trained laser surgeons and cosmetic dermatologists in Canada. Issan, who leads operations and marketing for the clinics, holds a Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Infection from the University of Alberta, and an After Degree in Environmental Public Health from Concordia University College.

“In partnering with FYidoctors, we saw alignment not only with how we envisioned Lucere’s growth in the future, but with the shared mission and values of the company,” said Dr. Taher, Founder of Lucere.

An engaged and respected local business in the Edmonton community, Lucere was recently awarded the Top Choice Awards’ ‘Top Cosmetic Clinic’ and rated the ‘Top Dermatology Clinic’ by Best in Edmonton, and supports several local non-profits including Lois Hole Hospital for Women, Zebra Centre, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and many others.
